The Willow + Well Foundation was created from a simple but powerful belief — that strong communities are built on compassion, connection, and the willingness to show up for one another. Founded by Kristin and Robby Sullivan, our mission is to restore the sense of unity that once defined small towns like Mount Union, Pennsylvania, and to ensure that no neighbor ever feels forgotten.

Our journey began with the 1st Annual Fall for Mount Union Community Fest, a labor of love that brought families, local businesses, and neighbors together for a day of joy, fellowship, and purpose. Even though the event was our first and came with challenges, it was proof that people want connection — they just need a place to find it. That festival planted the seed for what Willow + Well would become: a foundation focused on bringing people together and lifting spirits when times are hard.

But we know that community is about more than just events — it’s about access, awareness, and action. Many of our neighbors struggle simply because they don’t know where to turn or how to find the help that’s available to them. That’s why one of our core goals is to gather local resource information — food assistance, utility support, youth programs, mental health services, and more — and house it all in one easy-to-access location, both online and in print. We want to eliminate barriers and make help simple to find.

At our heart, we’re connectors. We believe in the power of people helping people, in celebrating what makes our community special, and in showing kindness — especially when it’s needed most. Whether through hosting future community events, organizing family meal programs, or building bridges between those who can help and those who need it, Willow + Well is committed to making hope tangible.
